Man..I don't know... Dropping almost $1K on chinese chi-fi... I would be biting my nails to the bone.
> chinese chi-fi
A bit redundant don't you think?
Ummm, not really unless "RIP in peace" makes more impact for you.
Arghh... another one making useful and relevant comments for the actual product itself, to help fellow Massdroppers. I have some articles that need proofreading...send me your email address. I am sure you will do a wonderful job.
You might also want to hire someone to search the interwebs for any comments or reviews regarding this device. Where oh where can one search for such information? Does such a miracle service exist?
No need to hire anyone new. I got you! You can proofread, search google, youtube and get me the D1 reviews. If I am lucky, you can maybe do my laundry, too. Good deal.
My fee is 300 USD per hour, let me set up a wire transfer account for you to deposit any fees to me. We have to set up time for an intake interview to determine what documents or items you'd like me to proofread and/or search. This intake interview will cost 400 USD. Please let me know when you'd like to begin. You can find my contact @ deweycheathamandhowe.com
How much for the laundry?
This is better made than anything Schiit could ever come up with. This notion that something if of inferior quality just because it's Chinese needs to die.
I like how my Chi-Fi $200 DAC outperformed my old Gungnir Multibit. I'm not moving upward, but hey man.. whatever you want to convince yourself of.
Well, i m not saying that chi-fi is not changing the game in a good way. I am myself considering the SU-8. All i m saying is that at around $1k, you might want to rethink spending that on Smsl. Hopefully china will push the elite manufacturers to drop audiophile equipment a bit as it is a wild world out there as far prices go.
900 isn't that much man, perhaps you should reconsider your current situation.
How can you say that? What are your criteria? Is it not expensive compared to what? "Expensive" is a relative term.
900 isn't a lot of money period. For some bang'n sound.. cheap.
