I have 2, one for me and one for my scout son. Works down to 40F, below that you need a little more insulation. Also it depends on the wind. To make it lighter, replace the suspension lines with lighter elastic cordage. I use it in conjunction with the snugpak hammock blanket. I also use the snugpak jungle nest sleeping bag for summertime hammock camping alone. I also have 2 snugpak blankets. I guess I'm a snugpak fanboy. It's hard to beat their value.

Rexar5I use either a blanket, sleeping bag or the snugpak hammock blanket with an underquilt, depending on expected temps
