Got the pen in rose gold; looks refined. I haven't had the chance to use the tools much. Comes with more bits than the pen can house—pick and choose 4 that you would like to carry inside the pen. Also comes with a spare ink cartridge.
Love the design and look of this. Knocked one star only due to getting a good grip and applying torque on this is not the best. The design is visually pleasant but creates a slippery tool. A solid add though to an EDC kit for someone who may work on electronics.
Works great, feels great in the hand, extremely well machined.
The little metal clip inside the bit compartment had me scratching my head for a moment until I realized it was how you pulled out all of the bits at once. The magnet isn't QUITE powerful enough to hold all of the bits once you pull them from inside the pen, so you have to be careful as to not drop the deeper 2 on the way out. Absolutely no rattle though when everything is screwed up tight. I'm slightly worried about how well the threading will hold up on the tool compartment cap, but that will be a matter for down the line.
The best part though, the included bits use the same hex socket sizing as ifixit, so the bits are instantly interchangable! If you have an ifixit kit, this is pretty much a must have, as it gives you a very nice, pocket friendly screwdriver/pen combo that can store four of your favorite ifixit bits for quick access without having to carry around your full toolkit.
I like this pen. It writes pretty good and is pretty sturdy overall. It holds 4 Bits in the back comfortably the added weight does not interfere with writing usage. The bits magnetize together so when you fully load the back of the pen with bits and go to remove them they stay together and don't go everywhere when you take them out. There is some rattle due to the sheath like metal object that holds the bits in place but it's not annoying ( see in picture 1). The pen can handle decently tight screws. I tried it on multiple different screws and can hold its own pretty well. Overall this is a pretty neat product that works well. The only issue I have so far is that the metal sheath that holds the screws in is not fully secured so it's falls out but that's really not a huge issue. Maybe the price could be lowered but it's not a huge issue for me but maybe for others. Maybe some more bits as some aren't very useful for me. Overall very cool.
