Jigged Bone Handle, San Mai VG-10 Blade
While SOG isn’t necessarily known for its decorative folders, the Arcitech is a bold display of the company’s ability to innovate. It features all the bells and whistles you’d look for in a hard-use tactical knife, but looks like something you could pull from a suit pocket. The handle is made from textured jigged bone that complements the mirror-finished blade and titanium bolsters. A wavy backspacer and abalone-jeweled thumbstud add an extra touch of class. Backed by SOG’s patented Arc-Lock, the Arcitech can be open and closed with one hand and can withstand up to 1,000 pounds of force. The blade is made from a San-Mai VG-10 core that’s laminated with 420J2 stainless steel. A scalloped spine provides the perfect place for the thumb when choking up on the blade.
