Thanks, but they're both history now. Haven't tried SOG's warranty department, but on the other SOGs in my possession, I'm relatively happy. Incidentally, I've never had a SOG with an uneven grind... pretty much the same for Cold Steel.

I've had two of these. The first one was from the original production lot and was so hard to open that I finally gave up and sold it. Then SOG supposedly heard about the problem (way too much spring tension) and fixed it with the next batch... well, I tried it again and it was still hard as hell to open! So, be aware that you might need a strong thumb for this one. If these had been manual, I'd still have two because the ergo's are great.

Sharp2dayWhich version/size was that? SOG also has usually good customer care, if you let them know about it, they possibly will fix it for you..

Have a bunch of SOG knives, they usually do not disappoint. Not sure if the price on this one is really good..

Great knife! I bought my adult son one for his birthday 2 years ago and liked it so much I bought the full size Zoom for myself. The Mini is definitely more practical for EDC. The action is fast, fit & finish are great and I'm thinking of buying on this drop for ME.
