Whether you’re looking for stability or just want some extra cushion, SOLE Active Met Pad footbeds provide just the right amount of support for any activity. Made from 100-percent recycled cork, the footbed features an integrated metatarsal pad that’s designed to keep your foot in its natural resting position while relieving pressure around the ball area. The heat-and-wear-moldable base layer adapts to your foot without compromising its orthopedic shape. Polygiene odor-control technology eliminates odor-causing bacteria, while the moisture-wicking top sheet keeps things dry. A layer of Softec cushioning helps absorb impacts and delivers long-lasting comfort.
First, remove your current shoe insoles and place the manufacturer’s insole on top of the SOLE Lifestyle footbeds, making sure the backs of the heels are in line. If both insoles are the same length, you may not need to do any trimming. Otherwise, use a pen or marker to trace the outline of your old insole onto the top of the new insole. Cut along the outsole of the traced line. If necessary, use a pair of heavy-duty scissors to cut through the foam layer. Don’t worry if it’s too long, as you can always trim more later and shouldn’t cut away too much at a time. Trim, try on, then trim again. Test to make sure they fit comfortably. If the insoles are bunching up toward the front, you may need to trim a bit more.
