DVDMikeThere are now SEVEN revisions of this camera. Looks like this drop is for a III which is a few years old at this point. That said, this price is lower than I'm seeing on Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H so it looks like a solid deal.
I have the IV model and it's a great camera. I get clowned on for having a standalone DAP and a point-and-shoot camera in the era of smartphones, but I have no regrets. This camera takes much better pictures, especially in low light, then even my top of the line iPhone XS.
This camera was recommended to me by a few pro photographers who have nothing but good things to say about Sony's optics. The controls are easy enough for a novice like me to be able to dial in good quality photos with the smart-auto settings, and it has a pretty deep configuration menu if you really want to tinker with the settings.
I don't use any of Sony's software for this camera. I've imported using Apple Photos and the Photos app that comes with Windows 10 and they both worked fine.
