Sony's PZ line is more focused towards videographers (that W-T switch isn't as useful as a focus hold button for the average photographer) but I suppose it can be used quite effectively for photos. Ideally we'd see the G Master line-up but I doubt we'll see deals that beat eBay.

This is a great lens. I wish that it was at least 2.8 though

ArchDillThat would be so expensive and big at that focal range lol.

NakroddieVery true. I just hate not being able to use it in low light as much. I have been using my Sigma 30 for low light.

The lens is phenomenal for Sony’s E-Mount APS-C system; it’s quite utilitarian with a strong focal range. The price though isn’t too staggering as the lens routinely goes on sale for 550.

Have this lens, would recommend, pretty versatile, kind of big, but zoom and focus is internal, so it's always big enough to be 105/4. Built-in correction profile has to crop at wide end, so more like 19(20?)-105mm. Here is some flowers killed by a cold snap and a goose.

Well finally a non-kit E mount zoom lens! However, the value of this drop is questionable. It's only $30 cheaper than Amazon, would take an extra month to ship/arrive, and is international spec so no guarantees on warranty should things go wrong. At that price point think I'd rather just buy off of Amazon with free 1 day shipping and a US warranty.

Can you clarify what used "new" means? If it's a one-off used lens, then it's a great price, but the price isn't really applicable to anyone else. If there's a stock of lenses available at that price, or if these lenses can regularly be found at that price, however, that's a different matter. It would be good to know so those of us unfamiliar with the market for this lens don't get the wrong expectations.

K.T.NYes, it was a "one-off" BUT it's just like Best Buy's "open box" section where just checking regularly will have different ones show up at different times. I know this doesn't help for the masses but still good to keep an eye on for both sites since buying from here is not immediate anyways.
