idoc72I wouldn't stress it. Cooking with aluminium is bad for you especially if you have anything cooking with any citric acid or vinegar. Titanium ftw. Might as well just use an empty soda pop can with this set here.

smallbitAnodized aluminum really isn't the same health wise as cooking with plain old aluminium .

westcoastI would agree with you if anodized coatings on stuff like this lasted longer than the first use. But they don't. The first scratch you put in it essentially turns it into a coke can.

westcoastI admit, I tend to avoid plain aluminium pots and pans and don't even fully trust anodized aluminium, at least not to use every day.
Ironically I haven't been giving a second thought to throwing a piece of fish in the oven on a piece of aluminium foil. Nor to the apple cobbler I just ate that was baked in an aluminium tray. Both of which are possibly much more risky(?) than cooking in an aluminium pot.
I won't even mention the aluminium laced tea I just drank. " ... tea is one of the few plants whose leaves accumulate large amounts of aluminum that may leach into the brewed beverage." ^source: http://madison.oh.networkofcare.org/ph/library/article.aspx?id=1903
I'd better quit googling before I have to give something else up :-)
Oh oh, too late: "Titanium exposure may be harmful to your brain." ^source: https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/health-risks-of-titanium/
Oh well, I'm likely too old to start worrying about it now.
