The picture and description are all false. I got a tool with black aluminum instead of the shiny silver, the attachments are not as described. There is no key extractor instead they added a second hook pick. Not what I need as I could really use that key extractor at work as we keep breaking our keys and locks.
Love this kit, just gotta watch the screw on the head so it doesn't fall out. Luckily you can order replacement ones from SouthOrd for a couple bucks including shipping
MD wants to know what I think about this. The only way that I have picked locks in the past was to shove a credit card between the jamb and the door. I very recently changed locks on my door. After I received this, I watched a video. I easily unlocked my new lock within a couple of minutes several times. I don't know if I am more impressed with the lock pick set or me. I just ordered a set that fits into a cute black leather(imitation, I suspect) case that would make me look like a superspy; if I ever wore nice clothes, like a suit. Needless to say, I am happy with these at present. I am still so new to this that I don't have a lot of faith in my opinion about this set.
ADDENDUM: (28Oct2019) I have carried this on my carabiner that carries my keys, a Spyderco, and a Leatherman mini-multitool. The thumb screw and the tension bar have been lost. This does not change my feeling about this product or my rating. I post this as a word of warning. My lock pick success has fallen somewhat, but I can still get thru a fair number of locks.
Could have been useful, but the tension wrench bent quickly just opening it up and wont attach anymore. I still bring it around but it feels less useful than a small pouch set.
