These feel and look so professional and legit! To be honest, I have not been able to make them work on a lock yet, but I keep trying! I’ll get it!

awesome works great!
I bought a few tubular locks to try this out on. first one came and is a 7 pin. No prior knowledge just read instructions and tried it. 1 minute i picked the lock. They work amazing. i'm 100% happy with the product. can't wait to try 8 pin! lol

Good quality, check YouTube for impressioning technique. I’m happy I added them to my collection. Maybe a small cap to cover the tip of the pick to protect it in my bag.

Had our birth certificates and other documents locked away in one of those fireproof/resistant lockboxes for the last 7 years because the only key was lost. Took about 30 seconds on the first try to unlock it using these. I used the pin sizing tool to have a new key made. So satisfying to finally solve that problem. My only complaint is about the pins. They're weak, sharp, and stick out at a 90 degree angle so I can't conveniently store them in anything besides a hardshell case to keep the pins from getting bent/damaged. It makes it annoying to keep them in my car while biking. I imagined keeping them near because every now and again, someone in the group will lose their key to their bike rack on the trail. These can be such a lifesaver when you have clumsy/forgetful friends.

These are good tools, I got the set "just in-case", but at this point in the lifecycle/history of tubular locks, I would have been smarter to just get the standard 7pin for my needs. I mainly got this model of pick so I could lock the bidding after impressioning, a feature I missed on the cheap ones. This works well, but you really have to tighten the tension to get an effective lock, and even then it's not really locked, but good enough most of the time. I'm disappointed there is not more variability in the tension, and no feedback really on the tension knob to know just what the tension is. Even the lightest tension is too much for some applications. I rounded the sharp edges off the pin feelers in front of the handle. Do they really need to stick out so far. I'm probably going to cut mine and round them off again. I've misplaced my cheaper set from Bangood so I could not do a side-by-side comparison as I had hopped, but I got these for the tension mechanism and there is no comparison there. The bottom line is the tool works very well for its intended application, and better more versatile tools are 4-6x the price. On sale I think the tool was worth the price over the cheaper tools on the market without good tension control, even though it is significantly more than the price of those. Pros
  1. Opens all the cheap locks as long as they are standard size.
  2. Opens locks with medium tolerances with minimal security features.
  3. Was able to impression the "Master" keeping on a 'high security' lock with dual bidding, but not able to impression the user-key because of the security pins and other features.
  4. Works great to open a lock you need to turn more than one position, you can single-pin pick the lock, and then impression a perfect key after that for any standard size lock as at that point the security features have been defeated.
  5. Easy and comfortable to use.

Cons
  1. Tension control is imprecise, and not able to fully lock
  2. Not really usable for single-pin picking as the tension control dampens important feedback. Not really designed for that so more of a design limitation than a con.
  3. The reset mechanism with the washer is, shall we say, unrefined? Which is in contrast to the general engineering used in the rest of the tool.
  4. Do those pin feelers really need to be that sharp at the back end, and stickout anymore that the diameter of the washer?
ps... don't use tubular locks for anything valuable :)

Great tool used to get into my safe when I lost my keys!!! It’s easy to use and kinda fun every time I open my safe now so I don’t even wanna get a new key made which this pick is capable of saving cutting measurements to do so
