Am I the only one who never heard of Speake-Marin? I feel like it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if I found this watch on wish.

MikeomaticIt’s not a well known brand, but if you look around you will see that a few luxury watch dealers carry it. Definitely not a good brand for showing off to friends, unless all your friends are hardcore watch enthusiasts. If you can find pictures, the finishing quality is absolutely superb - never seen one in real life myself,m.
The price is also good. I will admit this watch is not really to my personal taste, and even though it is a good price, $4k is still a big chunk of cash. However, for a buyer that embraces the eccentric design, I think that this is one of the better deals we have seen on Drop lately.

Outdoors_guyThanks for the thoughtful and insightful response! After I looked at this on drop, I did some google searches and learned a little bit more about the brand and its history.
This is one of those junctures in my watch collecting that I wish I had limitless cash so I could buy something like this to check it out. But alas, I’ll have to stick with my Oris, Anonimo, and some of the other watches I’ve managed to come across and they so happened to fit my budget.
