That's what happened to me! Australia post told me it was sent back to sender by the US customs a month ago! I'm not sure if I can be bothered getting it again... MD says they'll credit me. Maybe they didn't fill in custom forms properly...

TyrekickerCan't understand why this should be a problem, all others I've heard about get their stuff. The most frustrating now is that DHL doesn't update with the correct status on the tracking, and when checking the trecking number with the Norwegian postal service, since it's a global mail shipment, I don't get any result on this number. Keeping my fingers crossed, but the hope to receive it is starting to fade out..

Spoke to the vendo, it comes w all paperwork except instruction booklet, which she said was common practice for SM watches. The warranty is however through Massdrop, although I’m sure this will not be an issue. anyone else have to wait 7 /SEVEN day shipping from New York??? I would have paid for overnight.

Fez4Indeed it's a shame he left. This watch was designed when he was still overseeing the company (at least on paper) and it certainly has all of the hallmarks of a Speake-Marin.
Not sure where it is coming from...

Looking around, this looks like a really good deal. Other sellers price this watch around $8000 and I suspect that price will only rise, as the "Spirit" line of watches has disappeared from the Speake-Marin website. It's only unfortunate that the watch doesn't appear to include it's original documentation.

vendor here doesn't necessarily mean SM. They might be coming from grey market dealer. I was asking about certificate of origin too, but no one answering

Ordered and looking forward to getting the 20003-54L (Seafire). I have been an avid fan of the now Naked Watchmaker and to be able to buy one of his watches is cool. It’s a rare bird 🦅 to able to add to the collection of chronographs that is familiar (7750 layout) but unique in its features.

IWC wants around $5k for their Valjoux 7750 watches, and this one is going be finished to a much higher standard than the machine finishing you're getting from IWC. In my opinion, you aren't going to be able to be able to find a better finished watch in this price segment. If you are concerned about Peter Speake-Marin being unknown, you probably shouldn't buy this watch. He was one of the main contributors to the MB&F Horological Machine No. 1; if you don't know that that means, don't buy this watch. Stick to your Rolex's and Omega's. Please.

Not yet... It was, for some reason nobody knows, sent back to Massdrops warehouse instead of overseas. Now it's supposed to be sent for the 2nd time, but the tracking says it's been "en route" for a week now so I don't know! Tried to contact DHL customer service now, to check, but no reply yet! Starting to get a bit frustrated..
