Several years ago, I came across and bought A LOT of Kent Wang polos because the fit was absolutely perfect for me. If you like the fit and finish of those Kent Wang polos, you will appreciate the Spier & Mackay polos. The Spier & Mackay is slightly longer in the body, like maybe an inch. Otherwise, the measurements are very, very similar. Buy with confidence at a way lower price than the Kent Wang ones.
I bought two of these--the fabric is thick, textured, and soft. The cut is really flattering. I've been wearing both a ton since they arrived. Very happy with my purchase.
I’ve heard about Spier and Mackay and decided to give it a shot with this drop. What a great polo! I went for the open collar in white. Really solid thicker material around the collar (no ends of collar curling up), overall nice materials and slim fit. I’m 5’4 145, muscular build and the Small fit me perfectly. Nice and fitted around the biceps, sleeve stops about halfway down, perfect length. I would definitely order one again.
Fit was alright, material isn't the most refined but considering its price, decent enough. Plenty of lose threads, which I've trimmed off (these are most obvious on the burgundy/maroon one, I also got green and white) and that stretched middle buttonhole which many others have already mentioned. Why did they have to attach that tag there? o.O
Well, other than that there's not much, but I find it hard to secure the topmost button (and I've got a slim neck)
Solid fabric with a nice collar roll. A tad long overall, but shrank to size after washing and drying on warm. Only complaint is the loose middle buttonhole which can barely stay closed. This seems to be a trend. Nevertheless, I recommend Spier & Mackay for a variety of classic garments.
