cityterraceI would venture to say that, across the board, Spier & Mackay is higher quality than all 3 of those brands, and a better value than at least the first two. Their sweaters are no different. They are on the thin side, but I like those for popping on over a dress shirt and/or under a sport coat for work. It's not the sweater I'd reach for when trudging out into the icy cold on a weekend. But I'd be happy to let S&M fill that slot in the future should they choose . How about a heavy gauge shawl collar, Rick? :-)

Material is good, very soft and lightweight. Size is a bit small though. I ordered M but should've ordered L to not be too tight. Also note, if you're 181cm like me, better order L, not M cause it's a bit short.
