I have one of these that I got from Spiffy Lab's Kickstarter campaign. Make no mistake, this is a big pen. And I love it. The large clip avails it to clip onto your backpack, your laptop bag, or like me, your "go bag". One other thing is that you can take out the G2 refill and holder and replace it with the refill from a stainless steel Sharpie. This is a great pen!

dfwhite17So I got this pen, and in particular was hoping it would fit two things: the steel series Sharpie refills, per your message, and these stupid huge Mont Blanc LeGrand refills i'd picked up on accident. Both fit in the pen body, but neither fit in the screw-off tip.
Mind sharing which Sharpie refills you are using with this thing? I'm also posting in the main thread to see what's up.

wibblesThe refill for a stainless Sharpie screws into the main body of the pen and takes place of the roller ball "holder", or what I think you mean as the screw-off tip. You put the screw-off tip somewhere safe while you use the Sharpie refill. Hope that makes sense.

dfwhite17Interesting...the refill I used isn't large enough to engage the threads on the pen body.
The Sharpie 1751000 refills, I take it? The 1800730 refills are what I tried, and they are for the "new" stainless pen, as opposed to the old solid stainless one no longer in production.

wibblesMust be, but I can't check for you. My pen is in my go bag, and I left that at the farm last weekend. I'll bet you could contact the guys at spiffylab.com and they would tell you. They're nice people. Sorry I can't help better right now.
