kaxixiYes, it is very good. Arguably better than S35VN. Think of it as a stainless CPM-D2. Typical hardness 61-62, sometimes 63.

kaxixiI find the steel to be somewhat chippy but it keeps an edge for a while. I have a manix 2 in XHP. I haven't sharpened it yet, so I don't know how hard it is to sharpen.
I will contradict the previous poster and say I prefer S35VN, which is somewhat softer but not chippy, much tougher.
