Both lightweight and sturdy, the Manix 2 supersedes its predecessor with diamond-like carbon coating on the blade. Harder than the BD1 stainless steel blade itself, this black amorphous carbon helps to eliminate reflection in bright conditions. The full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade also features a choil and thumb ramp for precision cutting, while the oversize hole allows for quick blade deployment.

Ergonomic Handle, Tip-Up Carry
Injection molded from fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer, the handle is lightweight and features ergonomic contours. It’s equipped with a ball bearing lock mechanism, plus deeply molded texturing for added grip. The black wire clip, positioned for tip-up carry, is reversible for right- and left-handed users.
