CPM S35VN Blade, Lightweight FRN Handle
Made of CPM S35VN stainless steel, the blade on Spyderco’s Native 5 boasts excellent edge retention, toughness, and stain resistance. Measuring a comparatively hefty 0.3 centimeters in thickness, the flat-ground serrated blade features a spine swedge to reduce weight, plus a finger choil and thumb ramp with jimping for precision tasks. Like all Spydercos, it features the company’s trademark round hole for one-handed deployment. Fitted with a lanyard hole, the FRN handle features a lockback design, while the four-way hourglass pocket clip can be positioned for tip-up and tip-down carry for both right- and left-handed users.
