Carbon Fiber Handle, 4-Way Clip
Originally released in 1997, the Native 5 is arguably Spyderco’s most ergonomic folder. The handle features two prominent curves: one a finger choil for choking up, the other further down for finger placement when tackling more strenuous tasks. This version features a blade made from CPM-S90V, which is one of the most wear-resistant steels available. The blade is secured by a back lock once opened. Another upgrade is the carbon fiber handle. Known for its strength-to-weight ratio, carbon fiber keeps the folder’s weight down and offers a nice complement to the satin-finished blade. No matter your carry style, the Native 5 has you covered thanks to its four-way clip, too.
