I ordered the silver blade black handle Para Military 2 when it was last active. I found out today from spyderco that the knife I was sent is not an actual spyderco knife after I had an issue with the belt clip and was sent a replacement.

daniel-josephYou bought the previous one on Massdrop? I've been worried about this as this is my first time buying from a drop and I've seen all of the videos on YouTube about all of the fakes out there and how hard they are to tell apart.
Does anyone know what vendor the knives are coming from?

Green04HOUnless they source the item directly from the manufacturer or the exclusive distributor, they usually do not disclose any vendor information.

semkaI didn't want to believe it was true either, at first I disputed it with Spyderco, but it is pretty obvious to me now. they claim to be sending me a new knife, not sure how this one got mixed in.
