Spyderco PITS Titanium Folder

Designed for the hardest cutting tasks and heaviest wear while still complying with strict British knife laws, the Italian made Spyderco PITS (Pie in the Sky) SLIPIT Folder is the everyday carry knife that can do it all and still stay street legal. A faithful interpretation of forum regular Mike Read’s non-locking folder, the PITS is a slipjoint knife with a super steel blade that can be easily opened with only one hand. The Skeletonized Handle is a unique design and a practical upgrade from the SLIPIT Folder, giving the knife an otherworldly look and feel.

The blade is constructed from N690Co, a new super steel alloy that adds cobalt to the mix for uniform structure throughout as well as a consistent edge. Comparable to VG-10, N690Co gives you slightly better edge retention and more overall sharpness and is shaped into a flat ground clip-point blade for versatility.

The PITS features a slip joint mechanism that uses a spring to bias the knife to the open position. The top part of each titanium scale features a long machined slot with an integral spring arm, and the arms are joined by a hardened pin that applies pressure to the tang of the blade to keep it safely extended.

For extra strength, the handles are precision machined from solid titanium and skeletonized to drop excess weight and improve your grip. The PITS also comes equipped with a reversible deep wire pocketclip ready for either left or right hand tip-up carry.
