Great knife.. a bit of an ugly duckling, but in hand and in use, it's one of the most ergonomic Spydercos there is.. in my opinion anyways. At MAP pricing though, I don't see any benefit to buying it here..

As a Stretch owner (though ZDP-189 and sprint run VTOKU2 blades), I can tell you what I love about this knife: + GREAT blade profile for slicing. I originally picked one up for times I stay in rentals that have abysmal knives, and want something better for food prep. The length, amount of belly, flat grind and thin profile are perfect for food prep. + VERY secure lock up (though I know that's the same as the Delica). + The very look is just unique for Spyderco. I also own a Paramilitary 2, a Para 3, and a Manix 2, all of which are wonderful knives, but I personally just prefer the look of this knife, overall. Now, that all being said, the price for this knife here on MD is no deal. And, the sprint run version can be had for $3 more, and in my opinion, the VTOKU2 blade is worth it. AMAZINGLY sharp and easy to maintain (though the edge can patina).

shoopThanks for mentioning the V-toku2 blade. I also just happened to get an alert for a 15% coupon psavetoday that works today only via the ebay app. Picked it up from WMK for $82.85. I love saving money. Of course, I also picked up a few others and ended up spending $315 total. All for knives I probably really do not need. I must be stopped!

ponagathosThank you! Just used the code myself to get the missing link in my Stretch collection: The FRN/ZDP-189 in British Racing Green. My "stretching" is done!
