I have one of these with the Hitachi Super Blue steel, however I never use it as the Super Blue is SUPER highly prone to corrosion without CONSTANT maintenance/lubrication, my fault for not researching that first i guess. Which is a shame, because this is a perfect sized knife for my hands. like a step between their Delica-4 and the Domino.
I have several of their ZDP metal blades, and while they are brittle I love how long they seem to retain their edge. I've found them rather easy to touch up when needed as well, however they do chip pretty easily, so knives with this metal are definately not for heavy useage.
If looking for a utility knife, stick to something with S30V or even 154CM depending on how hard of use you are looking for. I mention 154CM for super easy honing/sharpening on the spot.
Might jump on one of these, but i don't know if i'm diggin the brown G10.
