Looking Sharp

Let's start with that distinctive edge, made of CPM S30V steel and shaped like a scimitar with a gently curved belly for maximum cutting power. For additional utility and sharp good looks, the blade is finished with a non-reflective black titanium carbonitride coating and features an unsharpened swedge on the back to reduce drag.

Black Widowmaker

For the scales, Spyderco used a combination of laminated carbon fiber and G-10 in a black cubic check pattern, giving you both durability and a distinguishing sheen. To keep you protected when the edge is drawn, an enhanced version of Spyderco's Compression Lock Mechanism maintains the blade's position so that you can apply pressure without any safety concerns.
