Sizeable Leaf-Shaped Blade With Double Distal Taper
Spyderco’s Temperance 2 offers offers a whole lot of blade (nearly 5 inches) and zero nonsense. Made from high-carbon-content VG-10 steel, the leaf-shaped blade is double distal tapered to reduce weight and aid in slicing and penetration. For control, there’s a jimped spine that arcs upward. This provides an ideal resting place for a thumb when choking up on the blade. The handle fills the hand nicely. Thanks to tan micarta scales, it won’t slip out of your hand in adverse conditions where your knife may get grimey and slick. A brown leather sheath is included for on-the-go carry.
