I'd never heard of SRM, so a quick bit of googling and it looks like it is short for Sanrenmu, a Chinese manufacturer that does/has done OEM work for Real Steel and probably others. This knife seems ideal for beefy hard use kind of applications (its a chubby bunny for sure). 9Cr14mov and machined G10 are much better than average materials for the price. Not really the kind of knife I tend to go for, but looks very interesting for $30. I would be surprised if the fit and finish are as good as a Civivi, but it is offering similar materials for 30% less money (the 9cr/G10 civivis go for around $42 if memory serves). Anyone have any experience with this particular knife or manufacturer?

NotsurewhyibotherI carry a Sanrenmu 7063 as a secondary knife. Same 9Cr14mov steel with an Axis type lock. It is inexpensive and well made and cost the same as the cheap Mtech, Schrade or low end Kershaw (Walmart) knives or used to before the trade war.

NotsurewhyibotherCheck out the comments on the other recent Sanrenmu drop: https://drop.com/buy/srm-knives-9008-titanium-frame-lock-knife/talk#discussions Basically, I haven't been disappointed with this brand yet. Value is good, fit and finish is good. I haven't tried their 9Cr14mov, but their 8Cr13MoV is up to par. I haven't researched this model, but all the ones I looked at before, the glassbreaker is removable if that's not your thing. This particular model is a little heavy for me, but I'd say this would be a good chance to see their quality for yourself.

NotsurewhyibotherSanrenmu is a legit company, not just as an OEM. Their 7010 and Land 910 are great budget options and the 1161 is a Ruike-tier overperformer.

bookworm13Looks like this one uses the glass breaker to mount the clip from the end, so not removable on this model unless you get a screw to replace it, or don't want a clip

bookworm13Yes a little heavy for me as well. I incorrectly stated that the Sanrenmu 7063 used the same steel. It is 8Cr13MoV . The 9008 was not a good deal on Drop and i commented about that.
