Curious... The cultpens.com price seems way lower than the MSRP and prices elsewhere. I see this pen listed at $199 several other places, so that, with any extras, $210 seems not way off.
That said, the price doesn't point at it being potently *discounted* and it seems like a "pass" to me. (I'd be keener on filling quiver with more Lamy 2000's before buying this one.)

MarshallmallowlolHey @Marshallmallowlol -- We heard back from Staedtler directly that the pen being offered on [that other site] is not, in fact, exactly the same pen. The Resina offered here is a newer version, on which the chrome grip extends further up the barrel. I've posted comparative photos below.
While the distinction is more apparent on the rollerball and mechanical pencil, a key difference on the fountain pen is that the threading for the cap is chrome instead of resin, which provides a more solid and long-lasting closure.
FWIW, in North America, the MSRP's are: fountain pen @ $199, case @ $39, ink @ $13.29.

JonasHeinemanHey @JonasHeineman, I really appreciate your diligence. Thank you for clearing this up. Unfortunately I don't see enough justification to spend this much more for an extended chrome grip on a pen that is resin and a steel nib, despite it being a great looking pen. To me, the case and ink are just extras. Nonetheless, I will continue to hang around for a bundle that sparks my fancy. Again, your contact is much appreciated.

MarshallmallowlolYou're very welcome, always happy to go to bat for members and pass requests along.
In this case, the vendor has been very positive and thoughtful about the reaction, expressing genuine interest in working with us and finding a way to offer something that the community will find is a great product at a great price.
We're going to close this drop early (April 9, midnight PST) and go back to the drawing board. Per @dedalian's suggestion, I've started a poll for other Staedtler Initium products here:

Thanks again for making this a productive discussion, we'll keep working on this.
