I don't have hair on my head, but do have a beard. Anyone know how well these work with beard hair, which is normally pretty coarse?

TacticalDanYeah, the wide spaces lets it glide through the beard. The point everyone is making about it being sharp, is really the edges of the tines are sharp (not the points) if you apply side pressure when you use it you will get some pulling.
So How about try combing your hair in straight lines?
