Hmm, this is more expensive than the carbon fibre comb drop.....either that's super shitty Carbon Fibre or this is some priceless high grade steel. :P https://www.massdrop.com/buy/bastion-carbon-fiber-comb?s=carbon%20fi

HouseHouse, thanks for your note. Chicago Combs are made of very high quality, solid, American-made stainless steel, which is milled in Kentucky. It's the same grade of stainless used in high end "18/8" tablewear. (Those numbers, 18/8, refer to the chromium and nickel content of the stainless steel).
All of the manufacturing work (laser cutting and polishing) is done in Chicago, and the combs are all individually hand-finished in our East Garfield Park, Chicago workshop. There is a great deal of hand-finishing work involved in making these combs. The end result is a comb that is designed to last literally forever. Our intention is to create something you can pass along to your kids or grandkids, similar to a nice watch or cufflinks.

ChicagoCombHmm, thanks for the detailed information, will take that into consideration. Although I'm not sure if my grandkids wants a comb from their grandpa, given the assumption they'll exist in the far far future.
