I keep this with my vehicle's emergency kit. I have not needed to use the seatbelt cutter or the spring-loaded window breaker, but at least testing the latter just to check and for fun has shown me that it's plenty strong and reliable to execute.
The knife blade remains very sharp despite some occasional use with minimal maintenance or upkeep as it just sits in my vehicle long-term.
The construction overall is superb, and I haven't had any qualms about keeping it around for emergencies. The included pouch also feels more than durable for my use case.
Have had this for a while now and can say it is a great tool to have. It is really well built and the blade is sharp, I have had to use it a couple times. I haven't needed to use the seatbelt cutter but I assume it will handle that just fine. Same for the window punchout. I say you should have one of these on hand just in case because you never know what can happen. Reason why I got one and am happy to have it than not.
Sharp blade haven’t used the seat belt cutter but sure it to will preform well the light works I haven’t the faintest how the glass breaker works but I know it to works to it’s potential.
This knife is awesome! I know that is an overused word, but it is true for this knife! I have already used it for a rescue, and I highly recommend this knife for anyone who is a First Responder. The knife was razor sharp and cut a seat belt with one swipe. The spring loaded glass breaker performed flawlessly (3 times in a row, I might add)! This knife now goes everywhere I do. Thanks for a reliable tool!
Great quality tool, solid build. Tested spring loaded breaker, some times there is a noticeable click and there is none rest of the times, however, it does work each time.
Solid. Good quality knives and sharpness. I tested the glass breaker on my wood floor and it put a tiny circular indentation in it. I took off a star because the method to retract the knives is stupid. Maybe it is ok because it is an emergency tool and not meant to be used often. I would buy again.
