The 50-millimeter drivers provide true-to-life sound reproduction without adding any bass, midrange, or highs, while the soft and thick ear pads offer pressure-free comfort for those long listening and mixing sessions Read More

Just 'good'
Lasted for about two years until the plastic on the join between the headband and the ear cups started to crack for no particular reason, at the end just a couple of cables holded the ear cups from falling apart. I tried a couple of things to solve the problem with the cracking plastic but without succeed. I bought a hard carrying case to prevent these type of issues but it happened anyway. Sound quality is good, materials not so good. Some parts are just cheap and crappy plastic.

Great experience so far
The headphones were bought more than 3 years ago. As with most of the over-ear headphones I have had, they get warm and a bit hurtful after use for multiple hours. The bass is good, the sound is worse comparing to Audio Technica ATH-M50x but for that price, it is a good deal. The detachable cable is very useful. Padding has not degraded in 3 years and the build quality is good. Has held up well

Purchased on a whim.
I've lost and broken headphones plenty of times now from early schooling to work and I knew I wanted to TRY and find a decent sounding burner pair of headphones preferably with a cleaner aesthetic. This did fit on paper but lacked in execution. Nowadays reviewers online will always show an unboxing, let me tell you about mine... ...the box was safely delivered but the headphone package was dented slightly on the outside, the box was peeling on the inside after I lifted the seeming nice cover apart, the headphones presented well but when I lifted the packaging I found the cables knotted and wrapped horribly, the coiled and straight cables are forever kinked, the documentation was messy and curved into place... I ordered cheap headphones, yes, but the presentation was hopeful but not executed in the slightest. *** maybe... just maybe... these were returned and resold from a previous buyer*** Sound: Can't tell you much because they didn't angle down enough to sell below my ears. I had to hold them in place or lean the headband back to the point the would be wanting to fall off. Decent bass extension, slow decay but not muddy, flat mids that were a bit boxy if you know nice sound, treble had cheap detail but low simbilance. For the price it was worth it for a burner pair but not fulfilling enough to choose to use as such... gave them to my younger brother. Will continue to use my tried and true VModa Crossfades or Final Audio E500 when traveling or studying out (when applicable... LoL 2020) STATUS CB-1 shall be a learning experience for my purchasing habits once again and a hopeful development for Status audio's future.

I'll be honest I keep buying so many headphones that I haven't even had a chance to try these yet. I bought them because they were cheap and I figured they'd make a good present if I never got around to using them. The box they came in is pretty nice I suppose, however, there doesn't really seem to be any padding as I can hear them rattling around in there.

Great headphones for mixing
Compared to my shure srh 440 these were significantly less overhyped in the top end. They are also extremely comfortable and the padding is so soft. They sound and feel great. Nothing more to be said about these great inexpensive headphones.

Good, not bad.
Pros Easy to drive. Fun to listen to. Long cable great for live mixing and in studio. Great price for value. Cons Would be great if it was tighter on my head. The bass is tiring to listen to over time. The bass is a little loose... if it were tighter I would give it a 5 star.

Ok, but not great.
I likely would not suggest these headphones to anyone because you can get better headphones for the same price. But thats not to say they are bad headphones. Far from it. Just that you can get better ones in my opinion. They are like the little brother of the Audio Technica m40x. Their sound signature is pretty similar but the bass is a bit stronger on the Status. A lot of the shortcomings of the m40x are dealt with here. The pads are much more comfortable out of the box. They fold up very similar to them as well so they are easy to carry around. Its mostly all plastic as well so it kinda feels like you could eventually break them if missused. They do support swapping pads rather easily as they have that little slot to make it easier to put new ones on. And the size makes it support most pads that would fit the m40x. But the drivers themselves are not angled so you dont get much from thick angled pads however. And as i said before, sound quality is pretty good for $60 dollar headphones, but i think you would be better off with the Blon B8. Not a bad choice if you are looking for cheaper, AT m40x style headphones, but unless you are looking for portability, you can find better.

VashDragonAmong all the headphones that I own it is such a coincidence that I just happen to have paired these two mentioned for comparison. They both sound great and have their own signature. However as much as I prefer the transparency and soundstage of the Satus..the Blon 8's seem more musically involved. Still I highly recmmend the Status especially for this crazy price. Excuse my terminology as I am no audiophile.
