Steampunk Cufflinks

Steampunk is a type of art and design based on steam-powered machinery. It developed from a genre of Victorian-era fiction that places science-fiction, fantasy, and horror themes in grotesquely gritty and industrial environments -- late 19th century London, for example. Steampunk designs are often entirely metallic in appearance and resemble some kind of machine, with gears, pistons, and other engine components evident. They have quickly become a part of the modern "urban grunge" movement. Time In Fantasy, based in Canada, is a group of diverse designers who specialize in creating Steampunk jewelries by incorporating rare and hard-to-find antique timepieces. Their hand-crafted work has been featured in prominent exhibitions across Canada and in numerous books and publications.

Choose from three different cufflink styles: Citizen, Wedding, and Bulova. Each is hand-crafted from functioning antique timepieces that really move, making these almost hypnotic to watch. Every cufflink's 17 real rubies contrast with the silver plates and ticking gold gears. The two in each pair are identical.

• Citizen: These cufflinks feature vintage movement pieces from Japan-based Citizen Watch. They are ovular, measuring 1.8cm x 1.5cm.
• Wedding: These circular cufflinks are unique gift for a groom or best man. 1.62cm in diameter.
• Bulova: These carry the name of the acclaimed Bulova watch brand; the name of which is etched in gold letters on each link. They are slightly ovular in shape, measuring 1.5cm x 1.3cm.

All of the cufflinks are made to order, so it will take 2-3 weeks for these cufflinks to arrive at our fulfillment center. Once they do, it will take less than 48 hours to send them out to you.
