Buyer Beware. DPI is what every other manufacture uses. CPI is what Steelseries uses for marketing purposes. Steelseries has gone nowhere but downhill in quality control. I'm never spending another dollar with this company. The screwed me on a 200$ headset. Everyone I know that has bought a mouse with them, has had nothing but problems. I admit the super old Siberias were good and sturdy, but their new stuff is Chinese junk.

IshbooSteelseries has always used CPI. It literally is the exact same thing as DPI. It seems you have a personal issue with them.
CPI=CountsPerInch DPI=DotsPerInch

BirdpersonYeah anyone who buys steel series hates them. After a few months and their shit breaks. Sorry I prefer quality over Chinese. I know DPI and CPI are the same thing. That's the point of my sentence. Why try to rename it? to be different. Its all marketing. This company is a joke. I literally have like 4 Steelseries headsets over the years. They are all broken. Not to mention the sound quality is horrible.

IshbooFrom personal experience their Siberia ?3 broke after 2 months of completely normal and even careful use. I haven't had any problems with the rival 300 mouse though. Honestly the best mouse I've ever had and can take a few rage punches.

IshbooI 100000% agree with you. If you happen to have any issues with your SteelSeries product good luck getting any sort of timely help from them. Most often its just a run around until youre tired to deal with them anymore.
