'Hand crafted'. You mean put on a tracer lathe that does all the work, than sure. Highly unlikely these are truly hand crafted on a lathe. Anyways this is not worth the money nor is it worth the time to construct by hand.
Master_Medic1Hi Master_Medic1, thanks for your interest and comment. My tops are machined individually, one at a time, on a manual lathe. The bearings are set by hand, and the hammered finish applied with a small hammer while the top rests on a piece of 2x4 on my lap. The patinas are "forced" on each top individually in a mason jar full of acid, and each top is "distressed" to reveal the texture -- again by hand. Pocket tops have become increasingly popular and collectible and there are many on the market, including others mentioned in the comments here. There are significant differences between hand-crafted tops and mass-produced products made with CNC technology, and this, of course, influences the price. Steve/SRfPT
