Designed by chef and author Curtis Stone and manufactured by Yaxell, these kitchen knives are equal parts performance and looks. They’re made from three-layer Japanese steel with a VG-10 core: a Japanese steel known for its edge retention and resistance to corrosion. The handles are made from FDA-approved micarta that’s ergonomically shaped for a natural feel in the hand. Designed to guide your thumb and forefinger to either side of the blade, the bolster provides maximum control and a sure grip. The hammered finish serves as an aesthetic treat, as well as a way to help food slide off the blade. The base price is for the carving or bread knife, but you can grab the paring, santoku, or serrated utility knife if you need something different.
Note: The base price is for the 8.5-inch carving knife, 5-inch santoku knife or the 9.5-inch bread knife.
