I have to send in the watch for repair after less than 2 weeks and the waiting time is 6 weeks. A grave mistake.

ReiKA friend of ours contacted us about this post. Did we take care of this repair? If we did not, I will make sure Abe gets on in next week. Very sorry for the issues. You can contact us at info@r2awatches.com or reply here.

It looks like you not only unaware of history and could not read well (at least in English), the factory was for cutting stones and making precious items for aristocracy. Muscovite aristocracy preferred Breguet.

That is interesting! Regardless of how long they've been making watches, they sure aren't very good at it. I've made the mistake of buying 3 Vostok's in my day. 2 of them were basically DOA, and it was cost prohibitive to send them back to Meranom. One, an Amphibia, runs quite well, but the case and dial finishing are laughably bad. The lume is almost an insult, because it lasts about as long as the amount of time it takes to make a sandwich. They make the cheap Chinese Ali Express watches look like Pateks by comparison.

please educate yourself and at least don’t show your stupidity and lack of history knowledge in public- you can also visit St Petersburg and take a factory tour - carving was secondary trade in that factory but their main job was watch making.. I have attached a description once again - you can also find someone who can read Russian and they will translate it for you. FYI - Russian is my native language

domdoranYes I agree they suck big time now :( Russian watchmaking became especially much worse after USSR crumbled in 1991. More so decline began in the early 1980’s. They have no more pride in what is being produced and that is very sad

ReiKJust would like to stress again that we are ready and prepared to handle any and all warranty issues with these watches. We have also found that with the latest models, defects have been reduced significantly. You can contact us at info@r2awatches.com. We also have a VERY active, private FB group called Vostok-Europe Timepieces where you can find us and our customers, who will share their positive customer service experiences with you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/291170541407683/

No, they weren't. THE FIRST WRIST WATCH EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE WORLD WAS IN 1868 BY PATEK PHILLIPE. Sorry chap. The USA was firmly in existence before Petrodvorets (Raketa) made their FIRST WATCH in 1949! We were on our 33rd President already. Your history is incorrect. There is no proof of any watch at all being produced by Raketa before 1949.

tadef.ytazJust read your callous remark. If you're seller of this model that attitude is highly unethical to put it mildly. You're taking people's good money and knowingly selling junk. Wonder if there is a law against that.
