Can someone point me to a bit of an explanation of how these devices can be used and who might use them? I have a friend who is trying to give up smoking. Is this device if purchased the right kind of thing for this friend to use in order to switch smoking to vaping? Is this device the same as an e-cigarette? How does this item compare to other vaping devices like the Flowermate series? Oils, tobacco, flowers? Help!
DrFingerlessThis device would be for your friend to switch over from cigarettes and eventually taper off to no nicotine use( if they wanted). This device uses e-liquid, a nicotine containing solution, to generate vapor. I would recommend this kit because your friend can get all the necessities in one fell swoop (you can add on a good battery or set at check out). Unless someone can show me where, I do not think you can get a deal like this and get VTC4 batteries as well. I can not speak for the Flowermate series, but it looks like it focuses on herbs to generate vapor. It would do this by cooking the herbs to a specific temperature.

DrFingerlessThese devices are fancy ecigs, meant for nicotine eliquid only. I love my subox, even without a spring loaded pin - best tank vape I've had in 2 years. Every week or two of hard usage, you need to replace the coils, which cost under 20 for a 5 pack. You also need an 18650 battery (I like the 3100mah flat top efest off ebay). Because it's a SUBohm tank (the .5ohm coils are great, the higher ones are meh), you should use liquid with a nic level 6mg or under. Higher nic will just make you cough and gag.
