This is a nice collection of modules for IoT projects, but new Arduino folks should know that neither of these boards can wirelessly connect to a network, they both require ethernet to connect.
That's fine for most people, but something to remember if you're thinking of doing a batter-powered project.

Upto0013I appreciate the note there. I'm unfamiliar with Arduino thus far, but have just picked up a bluetooth feather board to convert my keyboard and anticipated doing projects with more of that line by Adafruit. What's the learning curve on these boards playing nice? This might be a naïve question, I don't know. I have more experience programming whatever, so I don't think the language curve will be difficult. But I don't have much building experience except for soldering keyboards together.

fofdeoI don't know what you mean by boards playing nice. You generally only need one board for a project and they are generally only limited by the board components. Some obv have Bluetooth and wifi, others have GSM others have SigFox etc etc. And almost all components will work with all boards that have the right voltage.
But honestly, for every day use stuff that you're going to have in front of you, converting a Keyboard to BT is a pretty big undertaking that will likely leave you with something that is less polished and less functional than just a standard BT keyboard. I got one for under $10 that has been working flawlessly for like 6 years.
