Super5 Fountain Pen & Ink Bundle
German Design in 6 Colors & 4 Nib Sizes
A budget-friendly fountain pen out of Germany, the Super5 has been recently updated with various body colors and nib sizes—all featuring the writing power of the original. The torpedo-shaped barrel is made of smooth, lightweight plastic, as is the click-on cap, while both the grip and clip are made of painted metal for added weight and durability. The Super5 accepts standard international ink cartridges and converters, and comes fitted with your choice of nibs. There are two calligraphy nib sizes, as well as two standard writing sizes, all of which perform well for everyday writing and sketching.
Note: This drop is for one fountain pen and two 50ml bottles of waterproof ink. For the fountain pen, you’ll have your choice of body color (black, blue, dark red, green, orange, or white) and nib size (0.5mm calligraphy, 0.7mm calligraphy, 1mm medium, or 1.5mm broad). For the ink, you’ll have your choice of color: Atlantic (blue), Australia (red), Darmstadt (black), Dublin (green), or Frankfurt (gray).
Included Bottled Ink
Waterproof and lightfast, Super5 ink—manufactured for Format-Darmstadt GmbH by Rohrer & Klingner—is ideal for drawing but works equally well in calligraphy. With average flow and above-average lubrication, it offers good shading with broad and medium nibs. Though you’ll notice bleed-through and show-through on copy paper, heavier paper (Field Notes, Rhodia) is able to stand up to this German-made ink. Packaged in amber glass bottles, Super5 ink is also resistant to drying out when used in fountain pens.
