StitchyteacherI will tell you this: these are HAX-1 Organ needles. made under strict requirements for Superior Threads. I have used nothing else in my Brother and Juki machines since my machines were new. Also, these being titanium dipped they last 10 times longer than regular needles. I also use these for embroidery because as top stitch needles, they have longer eyes than the typical embroidery needles. I hope this is the information you wanted.

StitchyteacherSewing machine needles are pretty standard. If your needles have a flat back at the top, they will fit. I love these topstitch needles are piecing. Bigger eyes = easier threading.

kaybee884I have to disagree... somewhat:  Singer needles are a slight bit longer and for that reason, I don't use Singer needles in anything but my vintage Singers.  I also use completely different needles in my sergers.  So, yes, while most needles are standard, don't underestimate the slight differences to work against your machine timing of the lockstitch.  I gave specific usages because I know that Organ Needles are owned by Brother International and are used to time Brothers and Babylock and are installed in those machines when they leave the factory.  I also know they work in my Juki.  I don't advocate any other brands of machines until the owner checks their manual. Read the manual, determine what is best that way.
