Personally I find these headphones to be a little bit uncomfortable. They are rather tight around the head, and I have a rather small head, I can't imagine the clamping factor on someone with a larger head. The plastic is very cheaply made, and while the pads are comfortable and come with a separate pair that are more of a velour texture, the clamping factor makes them a bit taxing to wear.
The sound quality is mediocre but not terrible in my opinion. I need to turn the volume up pretty high to block out any surrounding noise on the bus, at school, or even just walking down the street.
For $40 dollars I would have been very disappointed in these headphones, I would have returned them if I had paid full price. But at the cost of around $25 I think I'll just pass these on to a family member that isn't going to care about how comfortable or how poor they sound.

CancerBecause of the way they are EQed, I use them only for DJing and live monitoring. Not for music listening. If you found these uncomfortable, you will find the Sennheiser HD25 uncomfortable as well. I would pay $40 easily for them.

SenorPlatanoI review cheap stuff sometimes - thorough reviews - recently the MEE HT21 that sells for $10 here. It's very very plastic and cheap, looks durable enough, sound is fairly good.

CancerI completely concur with your assessments. Over zealous exaggerated claims on these headphones all the way. They are similar to any generic "skull candy" type headphone you can get for 20-30$ at best buy or walmart. Nothing special here.

Bob493there has been no overzealous claims here, only people like you who don't get it. Did anyone say that the HD562 = HD25? I think that in your head you thought so and now you are blaming others because you just did not like the headphone. Another fact is that no matter how expensive or "high end" a set of headphones is, you will always find people not liking it because of comfort issues or "sound quality". These can be very personal.
