Damnit... purchased these last week. I'll have a video up on them in a couple days... so that's good at least.

SernI don't think the price went up. I think the sellers that were selling them for $30-40 ran out of stock, which means it's defaulting to the in stock sellers at higher prices.

madhaleI wish I could find the mod threads you mention in your review video to put me over the edge on these. All I see is a thread where people take out the foam between the pads & driver - nothing about 'soldering & fixing'. I already own two all-time mid-fi phones costing ten times this... and yet the bang-for-buck enthusiast in me still can't get this deal out of my head. 15 minutes left & still no idea if I'm going to join...
edit: Ultimately found the related post buried in the middle of the generic thread, but resisted & pulled back at the last minute. Would be great to hear back from modders on this drop discussion to confirm what works & what doesn't, though.
