The Aviator reinvents a classic SureFire design. Now, this ultra-compact light combines a white LED and a colored, secondary LED in a single head. Both outputs offer plenty of reach thanks to the Total Internal Reflection Lens. The primary LED generates 250 lumens, but pull and twist the self-locking selector and you can quickly switch outputs. Three secondary LED colors are available: The amber LED improves contrast and doesn’t degrade scotopic or night-adapted vision; the blue LED more clearly defines shapes in the outdoors and helps identify blood and hydraulic fluid; the yellow-green LED is complementary to the color spectrum used in most cockpits. The internals of the light are protected by a hard-anodized aluminum body with a waterproof O-ring seal—not to mention the included battery has a 10-year lifespan.
