Made in Finland, the Suunto MC-2 NH USGS Mirror Compass features a high-grade steel needle with jewel bearing for super-precise navigation. It’s balanced for use in the northern hemisphere and is adjustable for declination correction. The liquid-filled capsule ensures stable operation, while the mirror comes in handy for both signaling and sighting bearings.

Clinometer, Magnifying Lens & UTM Scales
Other features of Suunto’s MC-2 include a clinometer (used to measure the angle of slopes), a base plate that features a magnifying lens, and a detachable snap-lock lanyard with wrist lock that makes working with a map—and the USGS UTM scales—much easier. And with luminescent markings, the compass is easier to read in low-light conditions.
