So the HiVi M10 Speakers just arrived yesterday as I was going to work so I had to wait until today to set them up. I have to say up front that I love these speakers! I am by no means an audiophile however I do notice a difference between the outgoing CyberAcoustics (CA-3602a) and the M10's. I've listened to a variety of musical genres found that my lossless collection of classical music & jazz sound richer. If you're looking for booming bass these aren't for you-they're great for mids and even the movies I've briefly watched.
Setup is a breeze, however I too had the speaker humming. I tried to pinpoint exactly what was causing it and noticed that every time I touched or moved the 3.5mm-RCA cable, it would cause the humming to reappear. Fortunately I had a spare cable left over from a previous setup and when I tried that cable I no longer got the humming. Time will only tell if this is a permanent solution to the issue, but at present it seems to have stopped. I'll put a link down below to the cable I got.
I no longer require the lasik eye surgery to correct my myopia thanks to the really bright blue LED power light. I will look into trying to dim it, but for now I can see perfectly without the need of contacts/glasses for the first time since the third grade. Thanks HiVi for returning my eyesight! :-p
I haven't had time to route the cables properly but here's a picture of how they look on my desk:

In conclusion, if you're not looking for a deep booming bass they're a great set of speakers.
Link to the RCA cable I swapped out for the one that they shipped with:
