I got mine back in late June 2019.
Watch came with no issues, no smudges on the lens, rotating bezel works fine & align perfectly with no back play, thick silicone strap & straps on securely.
Down sides, not sapphire crystal but synthetic, no anti reflective coating on the underside of the lens & no drilled lugs. Guess they need to cut some corners for that kind of price.
Reason for getting it were a number of factors, firstly it's size, never had a watch bigger than 43mm, Swiss STP1-11 automatic, 1000m rating, it's dial layout with simple pleasant design, large watch box with 3 compartments & definitely it's price. Costing USD182.00 include shipping. Big savings with these much to offer.
This is a BIG watch, lug to lug measured at 56mm not 48mm as Drop stated.
Not wearing it often due to it's size & thickness but lately been wearing it for my field work daily, it's an all round heavy duty time piece & keeps good time, gaining about +/- 1 minute over a month.
I've a six & three quarter inch wrist, can bearly pull it off & the lugs overhangs ever so slightly.
The more i wore it, found it's not that big.
It's definitely have presents & I definitely can say it worth ever cent
Has anyone who ordered this noticed a smudge/dirt/fogginess under the crystal?
Hard to photograph... looks like the reflection of clouds but I'm under a tree. Particularly noticeable around the date.
Can’t believe how lucky I’ve been with mine. Returning it from Australia would have cost me a fortune. Any chance you could try pushing for a replacement, if they can source one?
I receive this watch today. At first look, it look big and heavy but it actually is light and very comfortable and of good quality. The Pelican case is huge but well worth it as an item with the watch. The watch is keeping great time, looks great, feels great, the lime is great but have not been in the sun enough today. Overall a good price for a great watch with great features. Loving it.
wizzardp1Mine also arrived today and I have to agree on the case; maybe not a genuine Pelikan but a lot sturdier than I thought it would be. Very smooth crown action, nice sweep on the second hand and, overall, a very nice quality watch. Big yes but it does wear smaller, as others have said previously. Colour me impressed, especially given the price.
I’ve added a few photos but I’m no photographer.
alexkhoCould be worse.

”...Most of our timepieces are equipped with a SAPPHITEK™ crystal which is protected by our 5-year limited warranty against deep scratches and cracks. SAPPHITEK™ crystals exhibit superior impact resistance to commonly used sapphire crystals and can withstand high-pressure, water, shock, wear and heat resistance...”
AmsterdamnedIt will be just like seiko Harlex which is almost no resistance to scratch I guess they have to make a profits but really wish it was real sapphire not something fake
