Hey all, I know these pages have been fairly steeped in negativity and I've talked with Drop and it looks like they've given me the go-ahead on a fairly independent solution.
For 3 weeks starting Feb 2, going to Feb 23, I will be aggregating every single wrong order I can at my cost, and will begin shipping people their correct orders to compensate. I know this is waiting, and work, and really honestly annoying but it's the only solution I know how to do. To receive a label, please send me an email at replacement@switchmod.net by the cutoff date of Feb 23.
I will have you send the wrong product to me, and you will recieve the correct product when the cutoff date is over.
Your Name
Your Address
A picture of the incorrect order
Any other concerns or questions.
During Feb 24-March 1, I will begin shipping as many corrected orders as I can, filling in the gaps out of my own pocket as I go.
I apologize again, this is all I can really do.

KrelbitAnyone have an update that they know of regarding this issue. I don't use the discord, so i don't know if anyone asked about it on there. It's basically the end of May and still nothing.... @Krelbit
A $5 exchange offer? 3204 was already $5 less than the 205g0 I ordered. Don't waste my time with such an insulting offer.
A $10 store credit offer? No. I will not support you with further purchases anytime in the near future when you get my order wrong.
A full refund is the basic expectation when you send me a product I didn't order. It's still a bad option, just the least terrible of three laughable options.
How about this: we send back the wrong order on your dime, and you send us the right order. Thanks.
Hello keyboard enthusiasts!
Krelbit and I are aware that members have been receiving different lube than what they originally ordered. We are working together to find a solution and will be outreaching to community support to figure out this issue. I am sorry for the mixup and will be contacting those affected shortly!
Alright, let me try and trace that train of thought. So, according to you, since the monetary values were different, there are clear (monetary) winners and losers in this situation. To remedy this, the monetary, I guess, losers, in this situation, should be offered a higher compensation than those in the monetary black.
To an extent, I do agree with you, and I'll try to reach out to see what I can personally do. However, I also do want to say that the lubes aren't exactly better than each other - they just have different use cases, and some people could be just as unhappy with their 205g0 since they had a specific intention for their 3204.
In conclusion though, you raise a good point. I'll ask and see what I can do.
KrelbitExactly. Thank you :)
I am aware that they are similar (but not exactly same in thickness (at least from description you can see clear differences)), but monetary values are different and tells different story (by unknown reasons, which makes them really different)
Also to note I didn't receive item, so fingers crossing to receive good item, but as discussion is right now I don't want to wait
Hey everyone,
I've been getting contacted quite a bit over people receiving incorrect lube from their Drop orders, so I would like to say that we are aware of these issues, and I will be working with Drop to get a solution together as soon as possible.
I apologize for the mix-up and we will be sending an email out with a solution in the next few days for those involved.

KrelbitThank you @Krelbit for the quick reply on the matter since i was also effected by this. I also just wanted to put out there that i opened the jar just to see the contents, and it was only halfway filled. I don't know if anyone else had the same problem.
For the last time. The Krytox that you can buy for $20 for a .5oz tube - is NOT the lube people use for switches ffs.
Krytox 205G0 is way more expensive. The Krytox you see for $20 a tube on Amazon is not Grade 0.
Hi guys, I'm super sorry about the mix-up with lubricants.
Unfortunately, the supplier had limited lid colors and I was forced to compromise between having the product be 100% correct to the pictures and getting it out on time. I assumed that having the right sticker on top of the jar lid would be enough. Unfortunately, the warehouse staff over at Drop , much like any normal person, would not know the difference between 3204 and 205G0, and so they were mixed up. I deeply apologize for this. If it is any consolation, much of the gap in practical application between 3204 and 205G0 for switches is fairly negligible, but I realize that as enthusiasts this simply may just not be good enough. In the event that I work with Drop in the future, I will go out of my way right now to say that I will be fulfilling your orders from my end, and next time I'll get it right.
My deepest apologies,
Bryan, Switchmod Keyboards
KrelbitI am curious how the mixup happened. I ordered 3204, and got 205G0. I can understand why this happened if the wrong lid colour needed to be used for my order, but then what of people in the opposite situation? If there were that many black lids lying around that all these 205G0 orders got the wrong thing, couldn't a couple of those have gone on my order, and vice versa?
