First a disclaimer, YES I BOUGHT ONE! However, I have built four similar kits and two full medical bags- (emt quality with iv fluids and basic array of meds) This is a great kit for those of us who simply dont want to build our own. I purchased one simply to test, use and review. No more and no less. This gives my readers options to building one- As for bandages, I have yet to find any that are really water proof, HOWEVER, I prefer the Johnson and Johnson cloth type they are worth the extra few dollars compared to store brand or generics or alternatives. Buy bandages in 100 packages bulk via amazon etc, dont screw around- buy the good ones- johnson and johnson cloth- Buy 4x4s (these will in the end be far more useful then a single quick clot) by the box of 50 - buy hypoallergenic cloth tape the same way again SPEND THE EXTRA money for johnson and johnson- Now ask someone that saw combat tours in Bosnia, 91', and 2003-2008 what they did instead of the majikal quick clot (which is pretty awesome) Tampons and maxipads! Contrary to popular myth, your only stopping blood loss till you can get them sewed up. Of course, if you are a doctor, why are you here in the first place?
