It's a shame that these pens have awful click mechanisms. Worse yet, Will has not tried to follow through in the least with problems that I and another have had.
He tried to take it offline via email, but I can say that it was only a ploy stop the questions in this forum.
I would wholeheartedly advise against this purchase unless you want a pen that gets stuck when trying to engage it. Dollar store pens do not have this issue....
cosmonauticalsWow. Somehow your email got lost in my inbox but I just found it and am about to address the issue.
It is hard being a maker and a seller and I think plenty of other people can attest to the fact that I take all customer service issues very seriously. Hell, most makers don't even get involved in the comments here on Massdrop but I wanted to be involved if people had any questions.
cosmonauticalsI've bought several pens from TactileTurn -- they are all great! The click mechanism is widely used (also by Kara Kustoms in their pens). Beautiful craftsmanship and never had any issues with the pens. I did have a spring that somehow broke (never happened before), and Will sent me a couple quickly -- all free of charge. Will's always been responsive to me and all my questions.
Tactical_KeychainsI love being able to connect with the end user, but some days it is hard to keep up with that, making products, making prototypes, keeping my employee trained and on task with new stuff every day .... I wouldn't give it up for anything. I love what I do just like I know you do Brad!
